藉由每日的跑步，探索左鎮凹凹凸凸，採集路上撿拾的東西，或感覺的靈光，試著用在地的黏土捏塑，並燒成。
關於藝術家
吳其錚以土為核心，揉捏自身的生活觀察與想像，製做出造型質樸、兼具手感，且色彩、質感豐富的陶雕塑。擅長用陶說故事、創造出各式陶獸、土偶等充滿孔洞、可裝情緒，內外兼容的奇幻空間。有些從野史長出，或是造型來相找，也發展了可噴火的造型行動柴窯，在臺灣各地燒演，結合聲音藝術與表演藝術跨界共創演出。持續使用各地野土實驗創作，透過土，吸收當地風土養分，與地方產生連結，反芻出充滿況味的雕塑。

About the Work
Through daily runs exploring the undulating terrain of Zuozhen, the artist gathers found roadside objects and sparks of inspiration, shaping them with local clay and firing them into finished pieces. Medium: Wild Zuozhen clay (fired at 1100°C), found objects
About the Artist
Working with clay at his core, Wu crafts tactile ceramic sculptures rich in color and texture by blending life observations with imagination. A master storyteller through clay, he creates whimsical creatures and hollow figures, imaginative spaces that store emotions inside and out. Some works stem from local folk legend, while others emerge from spontaneous shapes. He has also developed mobile, fire-breathing wood kilns, performing across Taiwan by fusing sound and performance art. His ongoing resident pottery projects gather local soil to absorb regional essence, connecting deeply with the land to produce evocative sculptures infused with the subtle textures of life.
