作品簡介
《餘甜》從臺南六甲匏仔寮的龍眼、焙灶寮與龍眼殼出發，思考時間如何在物質表面留下痕跡。作品以三座焙床為敘事結構，透過攝影、錄像、聲音採集與 AI 生成動畫，回應甜的生成、火的轉化與餘韻的殘留，並藉由投影於龍眼殼上的影像，緩慢召回地方記憶、生命循環，以及島嶼生活在變遷之後仍留存在空氣中的微光、氣味與溫度。
關於藝術家
劉呈祥（Shawn Liu）為臺灣當代藝術家，創作橫跨攝影、錄像、生成藝術與空間裝置。其實踐聚焦於感知、時間、物質與演算法的交互關係，透過影像、光線、數位運算與材料的轉譯，建構兼具觀看機制與空間經驗的作品語言，持續探索當代影像在實體空間與計算媒介中的可能性。

About the Work
Lingering Sweetness takes the longans, longan-drying sheds, and longan shells of Pau-a-liau in Liujia, Tainan, as its point of departure. Through photography, video, field recordings, and AI-generated animation, the work traces sweetness, fire, memory, and the subtle traces of life that linger in the wake of change.
About the Artist
Liu Cheng-Hsiang (Shawn Liu) is a Taiwanese contemporary artist working across photography, moving image, generative art, and spatial installations. His practice examines the intersections of perception, temporality, materiality, and algorithmic processes. Through the interplay of images, light, computational systems, and physical materials, he creates works that engage both the mechanisms of seeing and the experience of space, expanding the possibilities of contemporary image-making across physical and computational environments.
